A great video below discusses at length the height of the folly associated with the Southern Baptist Convention’s handling of highly publicized sexual abuse allegations. I think the folks who prepared this video have gotten the issue precisely right. Internalize the content, but be forewarned. It may arouse righteous anger:

I am hard to piss off but this made me angry.
The folks who really ought to be angry, Fred, are folks who gave money to the Cooperative Program directly, or through their tithes and offerings.
It is tragic that denominational leaders fell for the progressive flavor-of-the-month grievance.
