When I prescribed ivermectin during the Covid pandemic, traditional pharmacies would not fill it. There was no effort to get the manufacturer to ramp up supply because the federal government did not want ivermectin used. The pharmacies usually claimed to not have any in stock. Occasionally, pharmacists would call refusing to fill the prescription because they did not believe ivermectin was effective. They regarded themselves as the experts with veto power over doctors’ prescriptions.
Patients would have to get ivermectin prescriptions filled at special compounding pharmacies. Because there are not many of these, it was often very inconvenient for patients. It was also more expensive because insurance would not cover it. All of the stars were aligned in a certain direction.
All these things happened right here in North Carolina.

Fred, I honestly don’t know the status of that case at this point.
The Deep State successfully chilled the environment for prescribing this drug when it was most needed. By the time these cases get considered, the damage was already done.

I heard local stories about folks using the horse paste from Tractor Supply, Fred. It was apparently pretty widespread. The government drove them to desperation…

And such an indictment of the tyranny of Officialdom (government/media/institutions), most especially our collectivized (as much fascist as socialist) medical-industrial complex. Killing people and transferring billions of $ into corrupt hands–Fauci, Bill Gates, Pfizer, the Federal govt. (aka, the Epstein class)
The existence of a successful therapeutic, as Ivermectin clearly was, would have made unlawful the Emergency Use Authorized fake vaccine. Which toxic jab killed people and ruined people’s lives. All-cause mortality is still elevated.
When you consider the massiveness of corruption in the US in the last several years, and that the “clean the Swamp” Trump administration has nobody under arrest 14 months into their administration, it is nearly as bad as the evil barbaric war Trump is prosecuting on the opposite side of the globe.
J. Sobran, as someone who was in the crosshairs of the mandates under the Covid regime, it is still astonishing to see what took place. In the early days, we were prohibited from prescribing hydroxychloroquine in North Carolina for Covid ostensibly to protect the supply for arthritis patients. Again, supply could have been ramped upward. They were prioritizing a condition that was not lethal– arthritis– over one that was potentially lethal. Again, that was a North Carolina mandate; but signals were undoubtedly sent from Washington.
