I had my own two sons in the scouts years ago. Fortunately, they had already completed the program before the organization went “woke”. First, they admitted gay scouts and scout leaders. Then other violations followed including DEI, the transgender mess and admitting girls to the Boy Scouts necessitating a name change. There was a concomitant sharp fall in enrollment.

I was a Cub Scout circa 1943 to 1946 . My mother was the organizer of our Den.
In high school I was active in BSA ( but never achieved Eagle status )
It was a different time altogether.
It’s pretty tragic, Fred, what happened to the Boy Scouts. It was my understanding the leadership of AT&T, one of the organization’s big supporters, drove some of this mess.
