The John Locke Foundation reports that Medicaid expansion under Obamacare has one largely unrecognized defect. It qualifies folks by income; and ignores the amount of total assets they might have.
Therefore, those with assets of a million dollars or more can qualify for Medicaid under Obamacare.
Recall that Republicans in the North Carolina General Assembly passed Medicaid expansion under Obamacare within the last few years. We have millionaires among us on Medicaid.
If I were a millionaire and told I was eligible for Medicaid, I would tell Uncle Sam to keep other peoples money to waste on some other entitlement give away program.
I guess that this just demonstrates the folly of big , overreaching government.
Obamacare was a huge folly, Fred. We are definitely paying the price of this folly.
