Very nice words. Trump put a knife in MAGA’s back, betraying almost every facet of it. It’s a defunct advertising ploy that fooled most of us.
And the founders of the US Empire are not Jefferson and Washington but FDR and the national security state created by his taking us into WWII. That is the myth that drives the US Empire and its bullying and forever wars. There’s a new Hitler behind every rock with LBJ, Clinton, the Bushes, Obama, and Trump posing as Churchill and calling anyone who doesn’t want to bomb and kill Neville Chambelain.
If the midterm elections are lost, J. Sobran, I think it will be difficult for MAGA to recover. Then we might be back to the Bush-style GOP establishment.
My thought is that the future for MAGA looks bright. It has been a winner and should be one for a long time.
Oh, and I enjoy Nick Freitas who is a pretty smart guy.
I hope, Fred, there is another avenue through which Freitas can serve. As you know, Virginia has become a pretty tough state for conservatives to advance.
