This is an excellent podcast/ discussion regarding the problem of LEGAL immigration that has been excessive and mishandled in various ways for many decades. Mike Slater engages with guests who assist him with developing the Christian case that we are not required to accept passively a huge, continuous wave of legal immigration. It is perfectly reasonable to suggest that it needs to be paused:

I agree, Fred. The folks in the video take it one step further and argue that we need to pause ALL legal immigration. I agree with them because we have accepted huge numbers over the last 60 years or so, and these have not assimilated well. We need to work on assimilation and tightening up procedures so that those who arrive love America and its founding and its people.
