Today, a News and Record journalist finds and interviews a Wake Forest administrator who worked for decades at the EPA; and who is a big proponent of costly, stringent regulations to prevent climate change. The man is clearly upset that Trump overturned some of these regulations.
There is no attempt to present the opposite viewpoint, which used to be a requirement for all good journalism.
It turns out that the socialists were on some very shaky ground– legally and scientifically– when they enacted these regulations. The premise that these regulations would prevent climate change is a fallacy.
Obama was responsible for these regulations; and Biden intensified them. They were clearly the wrong thing to do. Trump was precisely correct to roll them back.
But the News and Record and its “journalist” feel obliged to present an opposite reality.
My thoughts on the political cult of climate change:
The amount of time and effort someone has invested in believing a hoax is proportional to how difficult it is to convince them of the truth.
You are right about that, JayCee. And yet these progressive/socialists land fancy, well-paying jobs in big universities, and proclaim their falsehoods to the media who dutifully publish them.
Joe,
Thanks for keeping an eye on the lack of objectively . One paper town The N&R is spokesman for Democrat talking points.
BTW, did you see anything about the NY Times’ changing its tune on marihuana.
I know I didn’t. Clear bias is showing.
No, Fred, I did not see the N&R reporting on the Times’ abrupt change of position.
There are not many people subscribing to the N&R at this point. I can’t say that I blame them.
