Mayor Vaughan Calls For Federal Overreach on Electric Vehicles

Recall that the eastern Triad now has its Toyota battery plant that is creating thousands of jobs.

The Triad Business Journal is reporting that democratic socialist local elected officials including Greensboro Mayor Nancy Vaughan and state Senator Michael Garrett are banging their respective shoes on the table demanding that federal incentives and subsidies for electric vehicles– especially tax credits– continue.

Never mind that these incentives are wildly inappropriate– from a constitutional standpoint, from a scientific/ environmental standpoint, and also from a practical standpoint.

Never mind that the federal government is going broke.

Vaughan and Garrett want their region to be a shining progressive paragon– with lots of new, artificially created jobs– thanks to the misdirected expense required of all Americans.
