He has enacted a number of pro-life policies and orders. He has taken bold action against the transgender agenda in various ways.
And now, he has taken action to further religious liberty and tackle anti-Christian bias. This will include a task force within the Justice Department: a Faith Office in the White House; and the establishment of a commission to protect religious liberty. (HT: Fred)
All of these positive steps will go away the next time a socialist takes the White House. But for right now, Trump’s second presidency has been very good for Christian conservatives who take their faith seriously and who hold a biblical worldview. Not necessarily perfect, but very good.
In spite of some of the misfires we have highlighted, we can only look at his election as a manifestation of God’s mercy toward us. As citizens and as Christians, we must remain vigilant and resist the temptation to become apathetic. We must hold our leaders accountable on an ongoing basis.
