One of the most glorious aspects of the last six months is the degree to which Obama has fallen from the standpoint of political influence and popularity.
The following interview is with a young woman who happens to be the daughter of the new incoming Secretary of Transportation– Sean Duffy. She discusses the difference between how Millennials (est. age 28-40) viewed Obama versus how Gen Z (est. age 12-27) views Obama:
Obama is viewed as not cool by any group.
That is as it should be, Fred. An awful man, an awful leader, and an awful influence on the country’s trajectory.
People thought in 2008 that in electing Obama they were voting for an end to racial division and resentment. Obama was so full of dishonesty and invidious words and actions that he reignited race not as just an issue but something pervading every issue.
A search of mention of race/racism in media spiked grotesquely during his presidency.
Obama was a huge mistake, Healey. There is no question about that. He also brought the methods of the radical Marxist to seize power.
I also happen to think that GOP primary voters choosing the Bush’s and many of our US Senators also were huge mistakes. If they had delivered to us conservative wins, Obama’s impact would have been less.
