Guilford County To Recognize Pride Month?

The Rhino Times is reporting that the Guilford County Board of Commissioners will be considering an item at its meeting Thursday night to recognize “pride month” for the first time. Skip Alston is allowing this item to be heard at the request of another lefty commissioner.

The city of Greensboro has been neck deep in moral corruption with affirmation of the LGBTQ agenda for more than twenty years. But Guilford County has not taken that step as of yet.

But the Board of County Commissioners is now socialist controlled. I hope citizens turn out and speak against this proposal.

The county demographically is more moderate than the city of Greensboro, but it still leans left. Passage of this resolution would be yet another slap in the face of citizens who hold biblical convictions.

  1. Let’s see now we have MLK Jr. national Holiday, also Black History Month, and Juneteenth,

The county commissioners want a resolution passed to recognize Pride Month .

I thought Biden had already done this:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2024 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Pride Month.

    How about a heterosexual month:

A heterosexual person is attracted to people of the opposite sex. Boys who like girls and women who like men are heterosexual. Being heterosexual has long been considered “normal” in our society. When you think of a married couple or parents, it’s usually been a man and woman — in other words, a heterosexual couple.

    1. A heterosexual month would be a great idea, Fred.

The cultural Marxists want every political jurisdiction to bow before their false gods. Thus, we are being compelled to have an LGBTQ month everywhere.

  2. I got banned from next door saying ‘Thank goodness June is over. Stop trying to normalize the abnormal!
