Fred, there was little question this was going to be happening. The forces in control of the school systems and public education even have a reach into rural counties. School boards can fix this, but of course that won’t happen in Forsyth or Durham. Maybe in Rockingham County.
What did you think of Steve Jobs’ solution ?
I think vouchers sound good on the surface. I don’t think it would be wise for private and Christian schools to accept them because they will cause tuition to increase and they will invite governmental interference in curriculum and policies.
Vouchers to be used among different public schools is worth pursuing.
