Centuries ago Nietzsche declared God Is Dead. Well he is very much alive . Yes there are forces, there always have been, trying to erode Christian values from American institutions and our way of life. They must be withstood.
Think about what Paul said:
“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.”
We are dealing with a competing religion, Fred. Secular progressivism/socialism has its own organized system of beliefs, and it does not tolerate dissent. Indeed, it increasingly tries to crush it.
