We have written here about the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Once again, this has been widely regarded as a conservative denomination for many years. But as we have seen, conservative denominations can get hijacked and undergo a liberal shift.
The post below demonstrates voting within the PCA to disqualify homosexual ministers/ elders. The Piedmont Triad presbytery results are demonstrated. 55% of those within that presbytery eligible to cast votes on that measure voted against that amendment:
In 2022, PCA presbyteries voted on a proposed amendment to BCO 7 to “disqualify from office men describing themselves as homosexual.” Here is the presbytery-by-presbytery vote. PCA friends: does yours check out? pic.twitter.com/bgx9qwadTi

Some will attempt to justify such a vote by stating that some homosexuals claim to be celibate. But that is a rationalization that does not pass biblical muster– nor does it meet a minimum threshold of wisdom and plausibility and logic.
It seems the number of truly biblical churches continues to dwindle. It is an open question as to what extent the seminaries are contributing to this problem.
