Why all of a sudden did the police in Morocco tell them to come?
Anybody remember that the original purpose of having a govt was to protect you from invasion?
J. Sobran, I had seen video footage demonstrating the Morrocan police waiving a truckload of these folks toward the border. What you heard in the video corroborates that.
Why? I don’t know. But I suspect there is resentment over Spain maintaining this tiny outpost in northern Africa immediately adjacent to Morocco. I wonder if they want the Spanish to cede that territory. I suspect it is of some strategic importance because it controls access to the Mediterranean at its western end. The geography is important because Ceuta sits at the point where the Mediterranean is most narrow near the Atlantic Ocean.
And yes, your point is well taken about government protecting its people from invasion. The Western world has nearly forgotten this in order to serve certain agendas.
