The now-deceased Rev. Tim Keller had a ministry that was widely admired within evangelicalism. He offered solid, relevant teachings. He grew a vibrant church in New York City– Redeemer Presbyterian– that provided a gospel opportunity for Manhattan residents. It was part of the PCA– a previously conservative denomination. But then his ministry took a decided turn to the left. Here is an example:

Of course, this is utter trash– biblically, culturally, civically and spiritually.
Redeemer Presbyterian is very large with multiple sites and numerous pastors. Megan. Basham reports in her book, Shepherds for Sale, that a large percentage of the pastors at this church donate politically to Democratic candidates.
What happened to Tim Keller’s ministry and his church is tragic. It reflects a fundamental misrepresentation of the Christian faith.
If that Church’s congregation hears that garbage being preached, then they should find another Church Home.
