It was reported last week that the Raleigh Republicans are going to be investigating Roy Cooper’s notorious release of prisoners during Covid. The NY Post has reported that nearly half of them committed more crimes after being released.
This is certainly worthy of attention. I wish these same Republicans had been more of an adversary when this was happening, however.
It is good this is getting discussed during the campaign. It would also be good to discuss his horrendous Covid lockdowns.
Yes, Copper’s malfeasance and his horrible record as Governor should be hammered by Republicans. He has fooled North Carolinians for far too long.
I agree, Fred. Whatley still has time to turn this around, but he has to hammer away.
Then the question becomes who he will be, precisely, in the event he IS elected.
