For different reasons from the original movement, what he’s arguing for is another reformation.
That’s a pretty apt way of viewing what he said, Tommy. Yes, the state of affairs is that we DO need another reformation. Both within the Convention and outside of it. There are plenty of heretical churches and denominations outside the SBC that need reform. But now, for some of the reasons this pastor mentioned and more, the SBC needs reform also.
It appears that the camel has more than his nose under the tent. And as Tommy says,
“It is time to put on the armor, fight and do battle with these demonic forces.”
I wonder if the tide is turning, Fred. The conservatives seem to have a good candidate for president of the SBC this year.
