Biden’s open border policy was criminal. Between 10 to 25 million illegal immigrants were hustled into the US and put on the dole.
I think that the policy wonks think we need legal immigrants and they are coming. Mamdani was one of them at some point.
In fiscal year 2021, USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) reported around 922,000 naturalizations.
In fiscal year 2022, the number was about 750,000 naturalizations, which was a slight decrease, possibly due to COVID-19-related delays and a backlog.
In fiscal year 2023, the numbers had started to increase again, and estimates suggested that over 700,000 people were naturalized, although exact final figures are pending.
This is pretty serious stuff, Fred. Part of the problem is the huge numbers, and part of the problem is where they are coming from.
