The Rhino Times reports on this outrageous program that provides money for down payments to buy houses for certain favored groups— i.e., those who “qualify” by income, those who buy homes in certain favored neighborhoods, employees of local government, etc.
It is a classic case of picking winners and losers; and of transferring money involuntarily from one group of people to other groups of people. It is Marxism in action.
And it is brought to us by our esteemed Greensboro City Council.
A decade ago, this would have been regarded as unthinkable. Yet, here we are. Hard-working taxpayers in the city of Greensboro need to figure out a way to influence our corrupt local politics and take our city back.
I agree but the demographics make a positive change in the City Council difficult.
They do, Fred, and at times it appears hopeless. At what point will the local population say, “Enough!”?
