90 days
The settlers of our country brought with them their Christianity . It once was a force that determined our morals and then the tide started receding. It has ebbed and risen since those early years , renewing dedication toward religion. It is an endless story. Christian families bound together by the love grace and of Jesus Christ is the only path to a Christian nation getting in step.
I know it’s different for everyone but it starts with surrender, forgiveness and acceptance of yourself. Meditations are where the magic started with intense emotion, past pain flashing by, understanding and remembering things I had forgotten. Discovery of endless love for all, bliss that overtakes you like a waterfall, visions of windows in time. That has calmed down thank god but now my daily life can seem like a dream. Most days I don’t lose that connection and most of my obsessions, jealousy and compulsions have fallen away. I still have struggles but now my extreme past desire to succeed and compete and control have given way to balance, compassion and listening.
Early on it was difficult not to completely withdraw and seek meditative bliss .My life now has clearly changed, every moment is a miracle and I am blessed by whatever and whoever you want to call it. There are only two things in life that really matter…love and laughter.
I hope my children and grandchildren find this endless ocean of bliss and love with no fear of death.
Thanks, Fred, for sharing all of that. Very meaningful, and much wisdom shared.
