It has been interesting to witness the barrage of articles at Breitbart over the last month or two regarding Roy Cooper. Their journalists have provided extensive research into the former governor’s record.
The most recent examples cover the various instances of corruption; and also the fact he attempted to maintain a de facto sanctuary environment for illegal aliens in the state of North Carolina.
Matt Mercer, who resides in our state, was the Breitbart journalist for both of these articles. But my recollection is that the organization has had others also.
Meanwhile, the regional mainstream media tends to focus its attention almost exclusively on the most recent polling. Repeatedly. There is little attempt to provide objective scrutiny of his record or Cooper’s policy positions. After all, he is their favored candidate.
Accordingly, the general public does not know or comprehend the problems with the real Roy Cooper. The legacy media’s objective is fulfilled.
Meanwhile, Breitbart runs rings around them.
