The News and Record dutifully reports that the West Market United Methodist Church has a “social justice and advocacy ministry” that is sponsoring an event focusing on voting rights and “a more just and engaged community”. Various speakers from the religious left will be featured.
Once again, there is no counterpart among the more conservative churches attempting to influence the public square locally. You have the religious left pushing for Godless socialism unopposed in Greensboro and Guilford County.
