  1. Paxton is such a good candidate that it is hard to understand why he is struggling so in a putatively pretty red state. Texas seems to elect a lot of Bush-type, uniparty “Republicans”, and it wouldn’t be surprising if much of that faction votes for the Dem. Remarkably, Miriam Adelson has contributed to Talarico campaign, giving him the Zionist imprimatur!

    1. Yes, J. Sobran, the Adelson contribution is an interesting wrinkle. Texas has many California transplants and internationals. That has changed the demographics, at least somewhat. Paxton has had some issues in his personal life, and it’s possible that might be dragging him down also. I hope the polls are wrong.

      1. Wrinkle? Pretty benign description of another sign that Zionists actually hate us, domestically favoring anything that will weaken the US (open borders for us but not Israel, LGBTQ–whatever the leftists propose the Zionists support), seemingly resentful of its massive benefactor.

I’d bet money that after elected, Talarico will toe the Israeli line while furthering leftist stuff & voting to end the filibuster.
