Very true, J. Sobran. I feel badly for younger adults and teens who have to figure out this bewildering environment.
It is true that todays college degrees are of little value in the job market. Exceptions are of course attorneys, medical and dental and engineers.
My degree from UNC Chapel Hill 64 years ago , I think opened the door to finding my dream job.
I remember, Fred, a banker telling me that he was presented with numerous job offers when he graduated from school. Today, that doesn’t happen– in part because of immigration and visas; and now because of AI also.
