Amen. DEI nominee who posed as a conservative who adhered to the words of the Constitution.
Such a mistake, J. Sobran. Trump’s picks have been underwhelming. His people selecting judicial nominees need to go back to the drawing board. And Amy Coney Barrett needs to reconsider her vocation.
I hope presidents carefully examine the Jurists who they nominate to sit on the Supreme Court.
Some times the get it right and some times they are blindsided and surprised by appointees’ decisions.
Earl Warren was one of those . Alito and Scalia stuck with conservative values.
The appointments of John Marshall Harlan II and Potter Stewart (who ironically would prove the most conservative members of the Warren Court) were surprise gifts.
Not all Justices turn out as expected.
MAGA has a new villain: Amy Coney Barrett.
A new poll finds that Barrett is the least popular justice. A Republican revolt against her is the biggest reason why.
Fred, I agree. What happened yesterday with Barrett was fairly pathetic. While I understand she was trying to dramatize the need for security, it obviously revealed weakness. She needs to get out and allow a courageous, truly conservative man to fill her seat instead.
