I agree with you, Fred. And as you know, Lindsey Graham won his primary last night. To get rid of Thune, you have to get rid of the skunks who support him.
Thune is Uniparty. All the Republican leadership is. Bannon is very much right. But getting rid of him for another of the cabal will be exactly the same as replacing Kevin McCarthy with Bible-toating Mike Johnson, a Congressman who represents Israel instead of Louisiana. (Notice that Johnson broke his promise to release the J6 footage.)
Johnson and Thune explicitly block Trump from making recess appointments. Trump’s got his head too up Israel’s anus to make an issue of it. A serious President would have numerous avenues to deal with the leaders of his party placing such absolutely unnecessary roadblocks to Trump keeping his campaign promises (to the extent he sees fit to keep a few). Nearly 1.5 years in, 150 Trump nominees are still being held up in the Senate. Greatly hampering RFK in the snake pit he’s trying to clean.
