It has become bewildering and costly to follow your favorite teams. You have to subscribe to multiple streaming services and/or cable TV.
A great example is the Atlanta Braves. The team makes at least some of its games available for broadcast, but none of the local stations in the Piedmont Triad airs them. Another regional example is the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team.
These leagues were given anti-trust protection many years ago by Congress. That means they face no competition. But now citizens are being gouged to generate huge amounts of cash flow for wealthy owners and players:
