  1. Bill Pulte is a great nomination. He has served as director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency , where he cleaned house, firing 35 employees. He was confirmed by the Senate for this job. Overall his general experience eminently qualifies for him for director of CNI.

It was disgusting to hear the ignorant John Brennan ( a Communist ), the former head of the CIA , lecture on Bill Pulte.

Hey, Pulte is a Phi Beta Kappa, jus’ saying. (-:

  2. “We really don’t need 18 intelligence agencies.” You think?

The CIA murdered JFK and RFK. They probably were involved in the lawfare coup of Nixon. They neutered Trump’s 1st term. They worked against his election in 2020.

They’ve destroyed the democratic process in many, many countries such as Iran in 1953, installing their favored dictator. How many people have they murdered?

The last 2 Congressman to seriously question the CIA back in the 1970s (committee chairmen!) lost their subsequent elections (at a time when 95% of incumbents were re-elected).

They massively determine what will be news in the Mockingbird media. They are the Praetorian Guard of the corrupt US Empire. They are totally unaccountable. If you think totally unaccountable people behave well…you might need another Covid booster.

    1. J. Sobran, I agree the CIA has been a bad actor at times; and I think there are others also.

I think it exposed a great deal when Vindman openly challenged Trump’s executive authority during the first term. It revealed that they think THEY are in charge and set policy. And when I use the word “they”, I mean almost the entire administrative state– and especially the national security apparatus which has many tentacles throughout the federal government, a subset of which is intelligence. And the DOJ acts as their enforcement arm.

  3. Was anyone punished for the CIA sabotaging the 1st Trump administration? No. In 2024, they and their Epstein class buddies bought Trump off. 30 pieces of silver or a gun to the head?

The CIA can lie (propagandize us), cheat, steal, and murder anyone. And you aren’t allowed to even ask about it.

Maybe you could point to an explicit payoff from tolerating such evil, Triad? WMD, which lead to the death of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis? Prevention of 9/11? Prediction of the fall of Soviet Union? Sabotaging of republics such as Iran and Chile and many others? Murder of JFK?

    1. I am sure they are advancing their own conception of The Way Things Ought To Be, J. Sobran. But as you suggest, that is not necessarily a real payoff; and it could be deleterious.

I think we need to eliminate the CIA and reduce the number of intelligence agencies dramatically. There needs to be a stronger presidential executive figure over the administrative state; and the administrative state needs to be cut down to size. There needs to be more oversight and accountability, obviously. But it seems those objectives are nowhere in sight, regardless of who is in power.
