The county manager presented his proposed budget before the county commissioners last night.
There has been some degree of obfuscation. The News and Record and WFMY do not make it crystal clear to their customers that a tax increase was proposed. One had to think analytically and understand at a much deeper level to appreciate that fact.
Scott Yost at the Rhino Times makes abundantly clear that a tax increase was proposed. George Hartzman estimates the average tax increase will be 19% based on the county manager’s submission.
Now it is up to the socialist-controlled Board of County Commissioners.
