Hartzman: Property Tax Increase Paying Mostly For More Compensation For City Employees

George Hartzman’s analysis reveals that 57% of the revenue from our 19% tax increase will go to overall compensation for city staff. He points out this is much different than the justification offered to the public for the astronomical tax increase. They lied to us. Big time.
