Cawthorn previously represented western North Carolina in Congress; but now resides in the state of Florida. I had posted some video of him a couple of days ago commenting on the Eric Swalwell revelations.

There are no doubt more scandals lurking in congress under the protective blanket of the good ole boys.
Oh, and the Swalwell scandal spotlights the depth of hidden corruption that has plagued Congress for decades.
Fred, when I watched what happened to Cawthorn, it was clear we had a very young NC congressman who had made some mistakes in his life. But it was also clear that he was targeted for eradication.
Question: were the NC establishment Republicans so fearful that his mistakes would reflect badly on them, or were they concealing their own hidden corruption?
