Well for the time being the GOP has lost a punching bag. It is getting crazy out there !! Holy smoke and MTG is resigning from congress. I don’t think Mamdani exactly answered Jack Posobiec’s question. Let’s see how he governs and if the flight from NYC continues on its current pace.
All of a sudden, Fred, Mamdani is cut down to size. I suppose we will soon learn how this all develops. He is a committed Marxist and I somehow doubt he will be able to restrain himself. Of course, his city council and his state government might restrain him to some extent. And of course, the courts and the US DOJ.

After seeing some of the email exchanges between our Mayor elect and new council members, I believe Greensboro’s Mayor may be in for a rude surprise as well.
She only has very limited power, Tommy. We learned that when Bill Knight was Mayor. If the new Marxist contingent has four votes, then they only need one more to enact their policies.
Remain mindful that almost all of the five remaining council members are socialists also. A few of these are perhaps more “moderate” than the others. It all hinges on how they behave. But it is not unthinkable that the new Mayor could potentially find herself in the same position Knight found himself– having the ship pulled much further leftward than they would have preferred.
