There are for sure RINOs. They will never become extinct . Best MAGA can do is speak at the ballot box.
The primaries are important, Fred, as you know. Don Brown appears to be the more conservative candidate.
I think Bannon is right. Whatley is a cipher. His only known pronouncement is his endorsement for re-election of the stinking Tillis, who is apparently the Senator representing Ukraine. He’s 57 years old, and North Carolinians know nothing of his views. Something tells me he doesn’t have any views that mean a lot to him, if he hasn’t spoken publicly about them in 57 years. Get ready for the the same old Republican boilerplate that turns into lies about reducing govt. He’ll say he loves Trump, even as he follows in Tillis’ footsteps of sabotaging Trump’s nominees.
I wish Don Brown could get some more visibility. The John Locke people (who are drifting towards the dark side) will not even acknowledge that he is a candidate.
J. Sobran, I think the John Locke people have been drifting for a while.
Whatley is a NC native, but his roots are as an establishment Republican. He publicly supported Trump and ingratiated himself with him. But Trump’s support ought not be the main criterion for choosing the nominee for such an important office.
