They cannot readily commit violent acts against faithful churches and pastors, as they have done elsewhere. They therefore find other ways to hurt the church:
John Rich has come to a similar realization:
🚨BREAKING: @JohnRich has a message for Christians

"I want to give a warning to Christians, the actual ones in this country watching—RADICAL Leftists have INFILTRATED a lot of Christian institutions."

I would like to learn more about this infiltration of churches. I know that some sects are really progressive such as 1st Presbyterian Greensboro. There are some congregations who follow the teachings of super progressive Jim Wallis who has endorsed every Democratic Presidential candidate from Barrack Obama to Kamal Harris. He admitted accepting a large donation from George Soros after first denning it . Wallis is often associated with the evangelical left and the wider Christian left.
Wallis had been arrested 22 times for acts of civil disobedience including one outside the police headquarters in Ferguson, Missouri, following the shooting death by police of Michael Brown. (Later proved to be a justified use of force )
The infiltration is multifaceted, Fred. It happened to the liberal mainline churches and denominations long ago, of which 1st Presbyterian Greensboro (part of Presbyterian Church USA) is but one example. Wallis has been one of the evangelists and cheerleaders for leftism within the church, but the instigators are many.
Now, the efforts are focused on high profile denominations and churches that were historically conservative such as the Southern Baptists and the Presbyterian Church in America. They capture the denominational offices and structures and seminaries. One outcome is that the young clergy produced by these seminaries must be scrutinized closely, because they have sometimes been indoctrinated into leftism.
