I am not a fan of Charlie Kirk, but he did a good job with this discussion:

Yes Charlie did make a solid argument.
He founded Turning Point USA ( TPUSA )as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The organization’s mission is to identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government.
Since the founding, Turning Point USA has embarked on a mission to build the most organized, active, and powerful conservative grassroots activist network on college campuses.
So if Kirk is spawning more students to think and live with conservative values I have no problem with him. Oh I know he has critics. Some on Twitter have accused Turning Point USA of being a white nationalist hate group.
So what ?
He has done good things with his organization overall, Fred.
He used to be very weak on the LGBTQ issue. His position has moved somewhat and it has become more conservative over the years.
3 cheers for Kirk’s articulate laying out of it here! He is a needed voice!
Kirk worked so hard & so effectively to bring young voters to the side of light in the 2024 election, that any conservative should really cut him A LOT of slack for perceived shortcomings.
Yes, his is an articulate voice, J. Sobran. And I’m trying to cut him some slack! 🙂
Consider the source of the complaints when determining what’s true and false.
Kirk has had some critics from the left, Steve, but also from the right. The previous comments are entirely accurate that he has made some important contributions; and it appears he has retreated, at least in part, from any LGBTQ positions he might have previously held. I agree we need to discount the criticisms coming from the left.
