Today, there was news that RFK Jr. completely vacated the panel that makes vaccine recommendations at the CDC.
This might sound like “inside baseball”, but it is a big deal.
This panel is notorious for making recommendations without adequate scientific proof; and for failing to scrutinize certain products for safety.
The significance is that the individual states rely upon this panel’s work to decide which vaccines are required for school. Children are victimized when this panel makes mistakes.
I don’t know how he got this move past Senator Cassidy– the establishment Republican who got RFK, Jr. to agree to certain conditions in order to get confirmed.
