During recent times, our nation– and certainly, the corrupt media– have not prioritized the massacre of Christians worldwide. In many cases, these situations have been mostly ignored. We have propped up Muslims and Jews in various places. But Christians in Armenia, Syria, Gaza and certain African nations– probably among other places– get victimized:

Todays persecutions of Christians is just as wrong now as it was 135 years ago.
True that that little attention is being given the current situation by the MSM.
I was taught, in a high school world history course about the Ottoman massacre of Armenians. The Genocide of 1915 marked a devastating chapter among mankind’s cruelties. Over 1.5 million Armenians were systematically exterminated by the Empire through deportations, death marches and mass killings. Despite international sympathy, the global response was tepid, offering little accountability for the perpetrators. ( There had been other massacres of Armenians dating back to 1890 ) . Some captives were Islamized .
2021 marked the long-awaited, unequivocal recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the executive branch of the United States ( started by Ronald Reagan ), through the voice of President Joseph Biden. It followed recognition by the legislative branch in 2019, through nonbinding resolutions approved by the House of Representatives and the Senate. These two political decisions brought an end to five decades of wavering by the U.S. government, which could be identified as a policy of nonrecognition of the genocide of 1915, perpetrated by the Turkish Ottoman authorities, and which eliminated the Armenian people from their ancestral homeland.
Thanks, Fred, for your post. The Armenians have had a rough time for a long time, apparently.
