  1. Just because the Catholic church runs some charitable outfit doesn’t make it exempt from the rules of the game or the laws of the nation. Under the guise of caring for the least among us, billions of taxpayers’ dollars are spent on helping illegal aliens break our laws. Whenever you inject billions of dollars into anything, you attract the buzzards looking to syphon it off for their own good. Why would Catholic Charities be any different? In fact, I would argue that it was easier to infiltrate because, unlike other charities and NGOs, Catholic Charities enjoys an undeserved reputation for being above board. It is not. !

In 1983, in a case on Capitol Hill, a “houseboy,” ( Vietnamese child ) was discovered, employed as such by a homosexual couple (two males), one of whom was the Senate photographer. The FBI, as usual, did nothing. The MPD informant in the case, also a homosexual working alleged that the kid was given to this “couple” by Catholic Charities that the Church engaged to resettle Vietnamese boatpeople. He said they had a “contact” at CC that made the paperwork look like they were a regular married couple, etc.

I’m not a fan of Catholic Charities although I support some, not all, of the things that they say they do. I think the outfit was, presumably, still is, riddled with demons. It wouldn’t be the first or last time Satan tricked God’s vicars.

    1. Fred, I think there are some sober lessons we can take from some of these “religious” organizations that have done bad things and made them appear to be good. It seems we can’t take things at face value. Joe Rigney in his recent book, The Sin of Empathy, points out that empathy can be used to steer or manipulate us in the wrong direction; and that empathy is wrongful if its object is not based in goodness and reality and God’s word.
