I don’t know much about the religious/politics in that part of the world , but at first blush the Syrian Christians seem to have justifiable concerns.
Assad might not have been a Boy Scout, Fred, although I am not sure he was quite as bad as we have been told. He was certainly better for Syrian Christians than those likely to replace him.
