Is State GOP Inadequately Supporting Its Statewide Candidates?

The Daily Haymaker is making some serious allegations in light of the Republican Party’s poor performance in statewide races this year.

He alleges that the state GOP was not funding sufficiently statewide races for folks like Dan Bishop and Michele Morrow; and that various grifters are absconding away with campaign monies raised by Republicans. He says there was an inadequate response by the state GOP to the torrential negative advertising they faced– and that is unquestionably true.

He further alleges that prominent Republican figures had been talking trash about certain conservatives running for the General Assembly.

Those are serious charges that ought to be addressed.

  1. Sad to hear Bishop and Morrow came up short. These internecine squabbles are harmful . Why ?

  2. Dems outspent them immensely (it seems to me) on really vicious ads. Bishop and Morrow are very good people, attacked to a large extent with lies and unfair insinuations.
