Mark Robinson went out of his way to head toward the disaster zone unlike Governor Cooper and Josh Stein. There are reports of looting in Asheville, and as the state’s chief law enforcement issue, one would think Stein would do something about it. But he is too busy fundraising:

Kudos to the Lt. Governor. He is doing this out of Christian love.
The contrast with Josh Stein is striking, Fred. When John McCain quit the presidential race to deal with the financial crisis, it did not serve him well. I hope this turns out to be different. But I read today that one poll has Robinson down by 17% (50 to 33).
Perhaps this service in western Carolina is more illustrative of his character than the allegations against him. If so, I hope NC citizens see it.
