They can do this because it is considered to be its own sovereign nation within the United States and is not subject to North Carolina law. The marijuana store is located in Cherokee territory within the western part of our state geographically.

I say let them sell their pot. There are 379 liquor stores in NC.

Fred, I think making marijuana more widely available will assure that many more people will have problems with addictions of various types– and other negative effects.
