The pro-life organization Abolitionists Rising has published the Norman Statement that discusses the imperative of abolishing abortion; the church; individual Christians; governmental authorities; and the pro-life movement itself.
It is well worth a look. I have signed the statement.
TC: I did take a look at the Norman Statement . Very well drafted and consistent with the word of God on all the things resolved . Fighting words indeed and a call to arms.
I am however despondent of what appears the SCOTUS upcoming decision to make the abortion pill more available without any restrictions.
If the SCOTUS errs on this case, Fred, it merely reinforces what this group is saying. It would be part of the overall pattern. But if they don’t fix this, it would blow wide open the path for whatever the pro-death side wants to do.
Another example is the manner in which NC Republicans handled the overturning of Roe v. Wade– i.e., they chose to make abortion legal in NC through the first three months of pregnancy. We still have a way to go, even within our own state.
