Ralph Baric has been somewhat of an object of celebration in the Triangle region. He has received plaudits from Governor Cooper and UNC for his research efforts that helped lead to the Covid vaccine.
But the reality is that he was involved in the type of gain-of-function lab research that led to the emergence of the Covid-19 virus; and that led to the production of these vaccines that turned out to be extremely harmful to many people.
A new report at the Daily Sceptic alleges that Baric was part of an effort to cover up the true origin of the virus– i.e., the Wuhan lab with which he had collaborated.
In spite of all the information that has become available about Baric’s efforts and UNC, the regional media has been largely silent on these matters.
No worthy of all the adoration. To the contrary, deserving of our animus.
