Mike Slater Replaces Alex Marlow on Breitbart News Daily

Alex Marlow had been hosting the nationwide Breitbart talk radio program during the morning drive time on Sirius XM for a number of years. While he was pretty good, he did not nearly fill the shoes of the man he replaced– Steven K. Bannon.

Marlow’s wife apparently took a job in California; and since he obviously moved with her, this required he awaken and arise to host the radio show at 2:00 AM. He admitted this was not a workable arrangement long term; so he ceded the role to Mike Slater.

Slater had been a talk radio host in the past. During recent years, he had also been doing a podcast called Politics by Faith; and hosting a TV program on The First network (link in lower right corner).

Slater is a Christian conservative, a strong communicator and an enthusiastic teacher. He has good interview skills. He is relatively young; and he frequently invokes his faith to explain how he approaches issues and topics.

Slater has been hosting the program for a couple of weeks; and it is a markedly positive change. His show runs from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM weekdays.

Interestingly, he is originally from Syracuse, NY. He had most recently lived and worked in California. But he moved to Franklin, Tennessee to host the Breitbart program.

I hope that Slater stands firm and that he is able to use his important position in a beneficial manner.

  1. There is so to watch and listen to that I can;’t find time for all of them. Good luck to Slater and his listeners.

    1. Yes, it is impossible to keep up with all of it, Fred. I think Breitbart News Daily is a particularly influential radio program– perhaps even more influential than Clay and Buck– and I hope Slater uses this influence well.
