What is controversial ? This woke stuff is crazy town. I know absurdity is the normal but darn it please God save us.
I think some would argue that it is wrong to engage in mockery. Of course, the left does this with abandon. It is one of their major tools.
My own feeling is that we have to differentiate between political speech on cultural issues– and the speech in which we engage in our daily interactions For the latter, mockery is terribly wrongful. For the former, it can help provide moral clarity to a confused general public.
