There is a sickness in this land. Yes, and even a Russian criminal can see it. What happened on August 24 , 410AD can happen here. We have been warned.
The sickness is spiritual, Fred, among significant sectors of the population. But it is also political from the standpoint that one side is entirely depraved, while the other is afraid of its own shadow.
TC, I would add that not only are some of them scared but many of them are down right political phonies and frauds.
Tommy, yes, that is definitely part of the mix. I can think of two US Senators from North Carolina, for instance.
