What Conservatives’ Attitude Should Be Toward Israel

This is a great speech given by William Wolfe, the director of the Center for Baptist Leadership, in the nation of Israel at a conference. It explores multiple dimensions of an important issue for conservatives and for evangelical Christians:

  1. American Jews are primarily leftists. 71% Dems. American Zionists are remarkably unmindful of this. Dems sweeping Congress will have little effect on US taxpayer money continuing to flow to Israel so they can have free healthcare and nuclear weapons and plenty of bombs without having to pay a lot of tax themselves.

Good speech. Yet remarkable for making a speech on this subject and not mentioning the genocide. On the order of 100,000 dead Gazans, most women and children. Not in a war. In a slaughter. Huge numbers of children missing limbs and cripple of disfigured. 2 million Gazans’ homes destroyed. What is their crime other than being born stateless prisoners of Israel for generations? Shouldn’t a Christian find this a concern?

The Israelis helping the Muslim attackers of the Armenian Christians is very much a pattern of Israelis really seeming to demonstrate by their actions a sub rosa dislike for Christians. The destruction of Christian churches in Gaza, Iran (where Jews & Christians have lived peacefully all during the supposed war with the US since they overthrew the Shah), and esp. in Lebanon, the friendliness of Israel and ISIS for one another, the abuse of Christian clergy on the streets in Israel, Epstein’s dismissal of them as Goyim servants…

    1. Thanks, J. Sobran. I think Wolfe was trying to prepare Israeli’s for the likely future that younger Americans are going to be less inclined to write them a blank check, militarily and financially.

My understanding is that, at the conclusion of the speech, someone in attendance created a disturbance toward the back of the room and had to be removed.

  2. That was indeed a superbly excellent and diplomatic speech, without being weak on where we stand>>AMERICA FIRST ! And how we should treat our friends and enemies .

I am not concerned that he didn’t mention Gaza.
