We have posted multiple times about the candidacy of James Talarico in Texas. However, there is another certifiable member of the religious left running for US Senate. It is Adam Hamilton who happens to be the pastor of the largest United Methodist church in the country.
He is running against the incumbent Roger Marshall in the state of Kansas.
He asserts that non-Christians are eligible to go to heaven. This is a universalist belief.
He also relates how he is able to justify his belief that the Bible is wrong on certain important matters. He thereby openly rejects the inerrancy of the Bible:
2015: Rev. Adam Hamilton explains how he learned "how much latitude we have to push back on" the Bible:

He is just another wussy progressive . I hope Marshall gives him a wupping.
Since the pastor reads his bible every day , he should accept that it is the word of God.
I suggest that he also read “The Chicago statement on biblical inerrancy ” :

I agree, Fred. This is somewhat of a new angle that the socialists are attempting. While they have had black clergy run for office, I don’t remember their using white religious left. Again, angling for the female vote. What a farce!
